Positive news for tourists from the United States.
Everyone knows that since January 26, the United States put a rule: to return to the country they must have a negative test for COVID-19.
The Government of the Dominican Republic, the Ministry of Tourism and the majority of hotel chains are organizing COVID-19 testing services for tourists from the United States in the territories of their hotels and most importantly, it is free. They are doing everything so that tourists could rest comfortably on vacation and not look for where to do the test.
As of today (January 16, 2021) following chains and hotels confirmed their testing services: AM Resorts (Secrets, Now, Breathless, Dreams, Zoetry), Iberostar, Grand Palladium, Hard Rock, Excellence, Blue Diamond Resorts: Royalton Punta Cana, Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana, Royalton Bavaro, Royalton Splash Punta Cana, Royalton CHIC Punta Cana and other hotels.
Also some large tour operators are organizing COVID-19 testing services for citizens of other countries where this test is mandatory to return to their country.
